Thelma tells the story of a 93-year-old grandmother who loses $10,000 to a con artist on the phone who pretends to be her grandson. With help from a friend and his motorized scooter, she soon embarks on a treacherous journey across Los Angeles to reclaim what was taken from her. The action-comedy film made its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and features June Squibb in her first starring role opposite the late Richard Roundtree.
