Friday, July 18 | 3–8PM It’s BBQ night, Saltbox-style—smoky ribs, mac and cheese, cold drinks, and all the backyard vibes you love. We’re firing up the grill and turning up the music for night two of our birthday celebration under the tent next to Saltbox Kitchen. Come hang with us and enjoy live folk tunes from John Fitz (5–7PM), fresh veggies from the Saltbox Farm Stand, and sweet treats from the Uhlman’s Ice Cream Truck. Local partners will be joining the fun, and we’ll have lawn games, popcorn, and plenty of photo ops to round out the night. Tickets are $10 (advance purchase only!) and food + drink will be available for purchase inside the tent. Rain or shine, we’ll be celebrating with good food, good music, and great company! On May 1, 1775, undergraduates were dismissed and given an early summer vacation. Classes resumed on Oct. 5 in Concord, 20 miles away — the beginning of a wartime academic sojourn.

Freedom's Way National Heritage Area is launching an exciting program you won't want to miss called "Declaring Independence: Then & Now" in more than 20 towns across Massachusetts.
