Nature is springing forth and so is Patriots’ Day! And this year is very special as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the start of the Revolutionary War with the battles of Lexington and Concord. “The Shot Heard Around the World.” Wow!

Lady slipper orchids are a wonderful harbinger of spring. These lovely flowers are endangered, so please don’t disturb them. They need our protection.

The Red-winged Blackbird and the Great Egret (below) have arrived for the summer along with the many migrating birds. More signs of spring.
