Event Description

Oriana Consort, a chamber choir of 22 voices, presents a concert exploring musical portrayals of personality and character.   Treasured acappella works of Claudio Monteverdi, Thomas Weelkes, Benjamin Britten, and Ivor Davies, a rousing West African arrangement by Rosephanye Powell, and a premier composition of Walter Chapin set to text written by John Lewis.  Directed by Walter Chapin and Andrea Hart,  reception to follow.  Tickets $25/general, $20/students & seniors; discounted tickets available at www.orianaconsort.org.    Friday, Nov 22 at Trinity Episcopal Church.
