Artisans Way welcomes Treestump Woodcrafts for their much-anticipated annual trunk show.  A family of craftspeople from Arizona, they use wood and stone to create furniture, bowls, trays, sushi and bread boards, and kitchen utensils. Their work is made primarily of mesquite, filling the meandering cracks and knots in the wood with natural turquoise or hand-gathered river rocks to produce sublime one-of-a-kind pieces.  All in-stock Treestump Woodwork will be 15% off during the show. Artisans Way will once again present the much-anticipated annual showcase of Native American jewelry, animal fetishes, silver pieces, pottery, and more. Hosted by Diane Whitman, this will be the 14th year for this event, which brings to Concord unique pieces created by members of the Navajo Nation, Santo Domingo Pueblo, Zuni, and Acoma Pueblo tribe members.

During the show, all Native American jewelry and ceramic purchases will be discounted 10%.  

Meet local pyrography artist Alissa O’Brien at Artisan's Way as she demonstrates her wood-burning technique and discusses her inspirations and her mission. As an artist, Alissa strives to bring attention to simple events in nature that are frequently overlooked or ignored. It is her mission to provide art that creates an awareness of the importance of the natural world.

In conjunction with their 15th anniversary, Artisans Way in Concord Center will be hosting Diane Whitman of Sandia East over the weekend of Sept 26-27 for a show and sale of Native American jewelry and craft. Through her more than 35 years in the Native American jewelry business, Whitman has established relationships with artisans from various tribes and pueblos in New Mexico. She travels to the Southwest several times a year to hand-select hundreds of pieces of jewelry, accessories, and pottery and has been the exclusive source of Native American craft for Artisans Way since its opening in Concord in 2011.
